Heidi Sade ("I", "me", "my", "Designer") operates the website heydee.co (the "Site").

Your privacy matters to me. This Privacy Policy explains what happens with the only personal information this Site collects: your email address.

I collect only the email address you voluntarily provide when you:

• Submit a contact / inquiry form

• Sign up for updates, a newsletter, or portfolio notifications (if applicable)
   

No other personal data (name, phone, address, etc.) is actively collected or stored from forms. I do not collect sensitive data, financial information, or anything else.

Technical data (such as browser type, device, approximate location via IP, pages visited) may be automatically collected via server logs or basic analytics tools, but this is anonymized/minimal and not linked to your email.
 

I use your email address solely to:

• Respond to your inquiry or message (if sent via contact form)

• Send you updates, new work showcases, or replies you requested

• (If newsletter/signup) Deliver occasional portfolio/news emails you explicitly opted into

I will not:

• Sell your email

• Share it with third parties for marketing

• Use it for unrelated purposes

Contact form messages — Processing is based on your request / steps prior to a potential contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.

Newsletter / updates — Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent anytime (unsubscribe link in every email).

Your email is not shared with third parties except:

• Email service providers (e.g. Gmail, Mailchimp, Brevo) that process messages/newsletters on my behalf under strict data protection agreements

• If legally required (court order, etc.)

No transfers occur outside the EEA / adequate countries unless covered by standard contractual clauses or your explicit consent.

I keep your email only as long as necessary:

• Contact form replies → usually deleted after communication ends (max 12 months unless ongoing project)

• Newsletter list → until you unsubscribe or request deletion

I use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, secure hosting, access restrictions) to protect data. No system is 100% secure.

Under GDPR (and similar laws), you have the right to:

• Access your data

• Correct inaccurate data

• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")

• Restrict / object to processing

• Withdraw consent (for marketing emails)

• Data portability (where applicable)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon — aki.ee).

If this Site uses only strictly necessary cookies (no marketing/tracking pixels), no consent is required. If any analytics tools (e.g., minimal Google Analytics) are active, a cookie banner will appear for consent where needed. Most creative portfolios keep this very light.

I may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted.
